Our Mission

WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH

Our mission is to preach the gospel to everyone , regardless of their background. We have all been commissioned as believers to go into the world to make disciples of all nations. We endeavor to do that , one person at a time in the service of our Lord. To this end , TGM is an apostolic ministry and training ground for future ministers where we focus on teaching the word of God because we understand that the gospel of Christ is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

We focus on the Word

April 2024

We are now honored to host for multiple Bible study groups through the week. We also minister with prayer, offering a prayer and intercession session every week. We are rooted in the pursuit of God through understanding His word , being guided by His Spirit in all things to reveal all things.

Thanksgiving ministry was established as a teaching Ministry in April 2024. It began as a Bible study amongst friends, acquaintances and family which grew over time to include different demographics of people.

At TGM our ethics are underpinned by love. As disciples of Jesus we are the not only branches that sprout from Him who loved us first, but we are the fruit of His labor. Weendeavor to work in this manner with all people, with no prejudice, bias or discrimination. We let the mind of Christ lead us, in humility and service to people.

This year we commit to

God gave us a mandate, to go out into the nations and teach as He commanded,
and make disciples of all nations, baptising all the name of the Father, and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. As such TGM has taken up the call, and we go out
with authority and power which was given to us by our Lord Jesus.

We have committed ourselves to evangelise and testify and proclaim the gospel of Christ at every opportunity. For we are not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to those who believe

Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ. We have been directed by Holy spirit to speak Jesus into God’s people, to bring hope and confidence to those who will take up the call of ministry as well as others in need of exhortation.

We will stand in place at the rampart in this season of changes in our world and we will listen to hear what God is saying we should do. We will wait on the Lord and occupy what He has given!

CREDO

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

WE BELIEVE

that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit,
equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.

that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original
manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.

in God The Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself
mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who
come to Him through Jesus Christ.

in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the incarnate God, who in His incarnation was conceived by the Holy Spirit. I
believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection,
ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and His personal, visible return to earth.

in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and
judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ. I believe the Holy Spirit
indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. I believe in the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

that all people are sinners by nature and choice and therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by
the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking
believer with the Holy Spirit, empowering them for service.

in the universal Church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are
members AND “The Apostle’s Creed” as embodying fundamental facts of the Christian faith.

that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) water baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper. I
believe in baptism by immersion on the basis of a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord,
and in communion open to all believers.

in the laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for ordination of pastors, elders, and deacons, and for
the receiving of gifts of the Spirit and of healing.

in the personal, visible return of Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom, in the resurrection of the body,
the final judgment, and eternal blessing of the righteous, and the endless judgment of all those not rescued by the
work of Jesus Christ.

Our leadership team is made up of different people from differing backgrounds, from Pastors and theologians to counsellors and administrators. They work to serve God by serving the people.

Hi, I am Nick Chikore . I am a gifted young teacher who has a passion for expounding and teaching the word of God. I have been ministering since 2021 and have been teaching and leading TGM since 2024. I have studied theology and counselling and love football and evangelising the gospel.
